Coming Soon to The Pool

As part of the upgrade that will allow Sam to have high-speed Internet access that is required for some of the management programs we will be using, a high speed connection is being installed at his office.  As part of the upgrade, the board is installing WIFI by the pool.  If you would like to use your laptop while you take in the afternoon sun, the password for the day will be listed on the whiteboard. 

As an aside, there is no additional cost in providing this (other than the minimal additional cost of the router), since the high speed needed to be added anyway.  The board hopes everyone enjoys this new "pool benefit."

Also, many thanks to homeowner and communications committee Don Maynard for taking the time to help get Sam set up and installing the hardware to make this possible.

New Feature At the Pool

Ok, maybe calling it a new feature is going a bit far. But some homeowners felt that the current glass case did not provide homeowners with a place to post communication. Examples might be condo's for rent, cars for sale, church or community events. A magnetic white board has been posted by the pool to allow you to post items, or if you choose, leave a note for a friend with one of the erasable markers. It is a small item, but we hope you enjoy it. And thanks for the suggestion!

Initial Committees Formed

At last weeks meetings, intital committes were formed.  These are comprised of people who were at the meetings, but we are looking to have other homeowners join as well.  Please look over the committee rosters and see which one best fits your interest and experience.  Then send an email to kelli@certifiedhawaii.com .  She will make sure that your name is passed on to the proper committee chairperson.

Four New Directors Named to the Board

As you may know there was a special meeting of the Board of Directors held on July 11th.  At that time, the board appointed four new board members to fill the three vacancies created by the earlier resignations of Holly Tolosko, Margaret Castaldo and Bob Hassard, and the position of board member Patti Cipro who tendered her resignation at the meeting.

Welcome, this is the new Wailea Homeowners Association website/blog.  This will be used as an official communication tool for two way communication between the board and homeowners as well as from homeowners to the board.
